ABOUT.
The Knackler’s Workshop is a place where you will see old items given a new lease of life using traditional engineering methods. Not everything will leave the workshop shining like a new pin, some will retain the patina of a bygone age. However, what is guaranteed is that they will leave the workshop in a better condition than they arrived and bring a smile to their owner’s face.
SKILLS.
Paul completed a four year fitter turner apprenticeship in the late 70’s here in the United Kingdom. He continued in the world of engineering working on internal combustion/gas turbine engines until the early 90’s.
In early 2020 I started The Knackler’s Workshop, since then I have acquired a workshop and various machine tools.
PRODUCT PROTOTYPING.
We undertake product prototyping at the workshop. The scope and timescales of the project are agreed and then an iterative process of deliverables is followed until the prototype is delivered.
MACHINE RESTORATION.
We undertake both full restoration and or the replacement/manufacturing of missing or broken parts.
